Take the Guesswork Out of Warehousing
At Transport Systems Inc we take the guesswork out of warehousing. Whether it is a warehouse in chicago, nj warehouse, pa warehouse or any other warehouse for that matter there is no need to take an educated guess on what it will take to provide a safe, secure, efficient and cost effective warehouse. Yes we do get our share of “just give me your rates”, “ballpark cost of your services”, and “we don’t have much information but I need a rate” inquiries. However, we take a methodical approach at all the opportunities we are asked to evaluate and provide a solution. This is done through years of real world experience and tools gathered over this time period to take the guesswork work out of the equation. Here is our approach.
Objective: Outline recommendations in areas such as warehouse design, equipment specification, storage systems and procedures, and handling methods and processes.
Tools: Identify areas for operational improvements. As part of this process, we will:
– conduct site surveys to identify areas for time and cost savings

– SKU velocity analysis
– labor activity reporting

– facility design
Expected Results: Outcomes of using the tools and experience to:
– reduce product storage space requirements
– improve product throughput
– reduce productive hour labor costs
– increase warehouse function quality and accuracy
Continuous Improvement: Working with operations staff on continuous improvement efforts by,
– consult on continuous process improvement for specific clients
– review storage utilization and suggest re-layouts
– review labor performance (reporting methods, systems and procedures)
– produce and maintain layouts to allow for a on-going analysis
